The seven-stage pathway

  1. Strategic partnership: define the proposed roles of HerdSentryAfrica and ABRE Technologies in technology, infrastructure and implementation.
  2. Capital mobilisation: explore eligible financing for agriculture, food security and digital biosecurity infrastructure.
  3. Government appointment: envisage agreed government funding and implementation arrangements, subject to applicable approvals and procurement requirements.
  4. Deploy and screen: introduce solar-powered spray races, identification, weighing, screening and digital treatment records.
  5. Monitor and alert: connect cameras, fence sensors and telemetry with animal-linked observations and farmer notifications.
  6. Veterinary response: investigate alerts, arrange testing and determine authorised treatment.
  7. Safer livestock trade: support veterinary-issued movement permits, checkpoint verification and traceable records.

The hub that connects the model

The proposed Livestock Intelligence and Biosecurity Hub brings animal identification, weight trends, health and treatment records, and movement and checkpoint data into a governed information environment.

Funding arrangements

Financing is subject to eligibility assessment, due diligence, approval and executed agreements.

Commercial terms

Programme scope, farmer participation, operating roles, fees and service arrangements must be established in each pilot or implementation agreement. This site does not publish confirmed prices or returns.
